The Viola Burns Longer The Fry Street Quartet and acclaimed violist Toby Appel tour a very special program that includes two masterworks: Dvorak’s brilliant Viola Quintet in E-flat major, opus 97; and with guest pianist Monica Ohuchi, Kenji Bunch’s The Viola Burns Longer. Bunch’s new work (2024) is a suite of four short vignettes for solo viola with piano and string quartet. The program opens with Mozart’s K. 428. Selected dates available.
